Almost Us, the romantic film led by JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith, has reached more than ₱23 million in nationwide earnings as of May 12, according to an announcement from Regal Films.

The film’s box-office turnout has helped secure a second week in theaters, with Regal saying the movie will continue screening in 127 cinemas nationwide. The extension gives the JM-Fyang pairing more time to draw audiences after a strong opening run.

Directed by Dan Villegas, Almost Us centers on RR and Janine, longtime best friends whose bond is tested by hidden feelings, heartbreak, and the possibility that friendship may turn into something more.
