ANGEL LOCSIN URGES SENATOR ROBIN PADILLA TO REFLECT IN EMOTIONAL MESSAGE

Actress Angel Locsin drew attention online after sharing a personal and strongly worded message addressed to Senator Robin Padilla.

In her statement, Locsin recalled conversations they had about Padilla’s past and the beliefs that once shaped his views on patriotism and public service. She said she appreciated hearing him speak openly about that period of his life.

However, the actress also questioned why Padilla allegedly remained silent when she was being accused of having links to communist groups. Locsin claimed that he knew the allegations against her were untrue but did not publicly defend her.

She also expressed disappointment over some of the senator’s political positions, including his support for Pastor Apollo Quiboloy and his views concerning China. According to Locsin, these positions appeared different from the patriotic image of Padilla she had previously admired.

Despite her criticism, Locsin ended her message by encouraging Padilla to reconsider his choices. She reminded him that their success came from the support of the Filipino people and urged him to remain accountable to those they serve.

Her statement has since generated mixed reactions and renewed online discussions about loyalty, public responsibility, and political principles.
