ATENEO CLARIFIES TAB BALDWIN’S ROLE AS CONSULTANT

Ateneo de Manila University has clarified that former men’s basketball head coach Tab Baldwin is not employed as part of the university’s regular workforce.

According to the university’s legal counsel, Baldwin serves in a consultancy capacity rather than as an official employee.

The clarification comes amid an ongoing investigation into a drowning incident during a team-building activity that resulted in the deaths of Ateneo players Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili. Authorities are continuing to examine the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
