AWRA BRIGUELA APOLOGIZES AFTER MISUNDERSTANDING SUPPORTER’S OFFER TO HELP

Awra Briguela has apologized publicly after receiving criticism over a harsh response she gave to a supporter on social media.

The issue began when the supporter offered to serve as Awra’s interpreter during a trip to Vietnam. Awra reportedly misunderstood the message and thought the offer was intended to mock her English skills, prompting her to respond with an insulting remark.

The supporter later explained that the offer was sincere, noting that she could speak Vietnamese and only wanted to assist. After learning the supporter’s true intention, Awra admitted that she had reacted too quickly and handled the situation poorly.

In her statement, Awra said that the continuous criticism she had been receiving online affected her judgment. However, she emphasized that this did not excuse her behavior and accepted full responsibility for her words.

Awra also personally apologized to the supporter and her mother. The apology was accepted, with the family expressing hope that the incident would serve as a reminder to understand a person’s intentions before responding.

Moving forward, Awra promised to be more thoughtful and careful when communicating with supporters and other social media users.
