BENJIE PARAS RESPECTS KOBE'S DECISION TO RETIRE FROM BASKETBALL AT 28

Filipino basketball player Kobe Paras has officially stepped away from professional basketball at the age of 28, according to his father, former PBA star Benjie Paras. Kobe’s last known stint in competitive play was in Japan’s B.League in 2023, after which he has remained out of the professional scene.

Benjie Paras expressed mixed emotions about his son’s early exit from the sport, noting that while it is a pity to see him leave the game at this stage, he fully respects Kobe’s personal decision. He also emphasized that he has always allowed his children the freedom to choose their own paths without pressure.
