Mister Supranational Philippines 2024 2nd Runner-Up Brandon Espiritu has reportedly lost thousands of followers on social media after drawing criticism from pageant fans over recent comments.

The backlash began after remarks attributed to Espiritu were perceived by some online users as implying that the Philippines would have limited chances of succeeding in national pageantry without contestants described as “halfies,” a term often used to refer to people of mixed heritage.
