CARLOS YULO CONTINUES ASIAN GAMES MEDAL CAMPAIGN DESPITE TWO FALLS

Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo continued his medal campaign at the 2026 Asian Games in Japan despite encountering difficulties during the men’s artistic gymnastics qualification round.

Yulo suffered falls on the vault and horizontal bar but managed to complete the competition with an all-around score of 75.465 points.

The Filipino gymnastics star delivered a strong performance on floor exercise, scoring 14.600 to lead the qualifiers. He also earned spots in the vault and parallel bars finals.

Despite the challenging start, Yulo remains in contention for Asian Games medals as he prepares for the upcoming apparatus finals.
