Ashley Ortega has spoken up about the rumored connection between Kathryn Bernardo and her ex-boyfriend, Mayor Mark Alcala, during her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.

The actress was asked about the circulating speculation linking Kathryn and Mark, although neither party has confirmed the rumors. Ashley responded positively, sharing that she has long admired Kathryn as an actress and is genuinely happy for both of them.

According to Ashley, she sees Kathryn as a “decent girl” and believes Mark is fortunate if the rumors are true. She also mentioned that it has been years since their relationship ended, adding that she only wants happiness for the two.

“Si Kathryn kasi, I idolize her as an actress. So parang, ‘Wow, ang suwerte naman ni Mark. Nakakuha siya ng Kathryn Bernardo.’ But again, I am happy for the both of them,” Ashley said.

She further expressed that she is simply glad to see Mark possibly finding someone good after many years, emphasizing that she holds no negativity toward the situation.
