Actress and content creator Ivana Alawi has responded to criticism surrounding her recent relief distribution for residents affected by flooding in Pampanga.

Ivana explained that their relief truck encountered mechanical trouble while they were in the middle of a flooded area and was unable to continue moving. While the team was working on the vehicle and preparing to transfer operations elsewhere, residents reportedly began lining up near the truck’s location.

She clarified that the area was not originally intended to serve as the main distribution point. According to Ivana, they returned there primarily to collect relief supplies before bringing them to other affected communities.

The content creator also appealed to the public to consider the full circumstances before forming conclusions based on short clips or photos circulating online.

Her response comes after some netizens questioned why beneficiaries were seen receiving assistance while standing in floodwater.
