Jalen Brunson has been named the 2026 Eastern Conference Finals MVP after leading the New York Knicks past the Cleveland Cavaliers and into the NBA Finals. The NBA confirmed that Brunson won the Larry Bird Trophy unanimously following New York’s series sweep.

The Knicks closed out the series with a dominant 130-93 Game 4 win, securing their first trip to the NBA Finals since 1999. Brunson delivered steady leadership throughout the matchup, averaging 25.5 points and 7.8 assists in the conference finals.

Brunson’s award marks another major moment in his rise as the face of the Knicks. His performance helped fuel New York’s postseason run and gave fans another reason to celebrate as the team prepares for the championship round.
