A heartwarming milestone for mother and daughter! Filipino actress Jennica Garcia celebrated a major achievement in her acting career after winning her first Gawad Urian Award.

Jennica received the Best Supporting Actress honor at the 49th Gawad Urian Awards for her portrayal of Geleen in the film Sunshine.

The actress expressed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition and dedicated the prestigious award to her mother, veteran actress Jean Garcia.

The victory carries special meaning for their family, as Jean is also a Gawad Urian awardee. In 2012, she earned the Best Actress award for her performance in Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwang Paa.

With Jennica's latest achievement, both mother and daughter now share the distinction of being Gawad Urian winners, marking a memorable chapter in their respective acting careers.
