KIM CHIU’S SISTER LAKAM CHIU ARRESTED OVER 124 COUNTS OF QUALIFIED THEFT

Lakambini “Lakam” Chiu, the older sister of actress and television host Kim Chiu, was arrested in Mandaluyong City on September 20, 2026, in connection with 124 counts of qualified theft.

Authorities served Lakam with a warrant of arrest related to the criminal cases involving alleged financial irregularities connected to House of Little Bunny Philippines Inc., a business associated with the sisters.

The cases stem from allegations involving corporate funds, with Kim previously filing a complaint against her sister after reported discrepancies were discovered in the company’s finances. Prosecutors subsequently found sufficient basis for the filing of 124 qualified-theft charges.

Lakam’s legal camp has maintained that she will address the allegations through the proper legal process.
