The Los Angeles Lakers took a moment during Game 2 to recognize Luka Dončić for his standout 2025–26 season, presenting him with the league’s scoring title and March’s Western Conference Player of the Month award. The star guard led the NBA with an average of 33.5 points per game across 64 appearances, adding another scoring crown to his career achievements.

Despite the celebration, Dončić was absent from the lineup as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury sustained earlier this month. The setback has forced him to miss several games, including the opening stretch of the Lakers’ playoff series against the Houston Rockets, leaving fans awaiting his return.
