Mark Pascual has removed his social media posts about the viral "Utang Jokes" after receiving criticism from online users. Many followers noticed that the posts were no longer available on his timeline.

The discussion gained more attention after Christine Policarpio, mother of content creator Sachzna Laparan, shared her thoughts on social media, saying that debt should not be treated as entertainment because it can affect people who have struggled with unpaid loans.

As of this writing, Mark Pascual has not publicly explained why the posts were taken down.
