Drag performer Maxie Andreison has apologized after an old video showing a physical altercation with a fan resurfaced online and began circulating widely.

The clip, reportedly filmed around three years ago, shows Maxie during a Chun-Li-inspired performance when the encounter with an unidentified audience member escalated. In the video, Maxie appeared to kick and hit the individual.

Addressing the controversy during an Instagram Live, Maxie said the incident happened years ago but acknowledged that the situation should not have turned physical. Maxie expressed remorse and apologized for the actions shown in the video.
