MOTHER OF LATE ATENEO PLAYER DIVINE ADILI APPEALS FOR TRUTH BEHIND SON’S DEATH

In an emotional interview with ABS-CBN News, Ifeoma Adili, mother of the late Ateneo student-athlete Divine Adili, appealed for clarity over the circumstances surrounding her son’s death.

Adili described Divine as the family’s source of hope, saying he was a hardworking young man who cared deeply for his loved ones and dreamed of building a better future.

She called on Ateneo, the coaching staff, and those who were present during the incident to provide a clear and truthful explanation, saying the different accounts given to the family have only added to their grief.

Questions continue to surround the deaths of Divine Adili and Rene Baterbonia. As the family mourns, Adili said they are seeking transparency and accountability, hoping to finally understand what happened to her son.
