MOTORISTS TO ENJOY FASTER TRIPS VIA NEW CALAX EXTENSION

Motorists can now enjoy faster travel between Biñan and General Trias with the opening of a new segment of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX).

Subsection 3, which launched on May 4, adds 7.88 kilometers from Silang (Aguinaldo Highway) to Governor’s Drive, providing a more direct route and bypassing congested local roads.

Travel time along this route is expected to fall from about one hour to around 26 minutes. With this extension, CALAX now operates 26 kilometers from Mamplasan in Biñan to Governor’s Drive.
