NBA PLAYOFF UPDATE: EAST AND WEST BATTLES HEAT UP

The NBA playoffs are delivering major drama as several series begin to take shape. In the West, the No. 1 Thunder made a strong statement by defeating the No. 4 Lakers, 4–0, completing a dominant sweep. Meanwhile, the No. 2 Spurs moved ahead of the No. 6 Timberwolves, 3–2, in a tightly contested matchup.

Over in the East, the No. 4 Cavaliers now lead the No. 1 Pistons, 3–2, putting Detroit under pressure to respond. The No. 3 Knicks have been one of the standout teams so far, sweeping the No. 7 76ers, 4–0, and advancing with confidence.

With the Thunder and Knicks already showing championship-level form, and the Cavaliers and Spurs fighting to close out their series, the playoff race is only getting more intense.
