ROSMAR TAN CLARIFIES ₱500 MUSICIAN ISSUE AT PAMU’S FOOD AVE

Rosmar Tan addressed the online discussion surrounding the reported ₱500 daily talent fee offered to musicians at Pamu’s Food Ave in Tagaytay.
According to Tan, the restaurant’s operating hours from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. do not mean that performers are expected to sing continuously for eight hours.
She explained that musicians usually begin performing around 6 or 7 p.m. and finish at about 10 p.m., with breaks in between. During those breaks, music is played through a speaker.
Tan also said that performers are provided with free food and described the setup as a form of busking, while noting that they still receive a daily rate.
She added that interested performers may also have the opportunity to stay with the business and eventually become regular employees with benefits.
Her clarification came after the offer drew criticism online, with Tan saying that some people had formed conclusions about the arrangement without knowing its full details.
