ROSMAR TAN DRAWS ONLINE CRITICISM OVER REPORTED ₱500 DAILY TALENT FEE FOR MUSICIANS

Content creator and entrepreneur Rosmar Tan has become the subject of online discussion after a call for performers at a Tagaytay restaurant reportedly offered musicians ₱500 each per day, along with free food.
Musician Kv Khaii Nicodemus Ebreo raised concerns about the offer, saying the schedule allegedly runs from 4 p.m. until midnight. She argued that the amount is considerably lower than rates commonly received by some performers in Tagaytay.
Ebreo also highlighted the expenses musicians shoulder before and during performances, including rehearsals, transportation, instruments, equipment, and maintenance.
According to Ebreo, other musicians later contacted her and shared similar experiences involving low talent-fee offers.
She clarified that her concern was not directed at performers who accept lower rates because of their circumstances. Instead, she questioned whether offers at that level could eventually become normalized within the local music industry.
