RYZZA MAE LOOKS BACK ON CHALLENGES OF GROWING UP IN THE SPOTLIGHT AND OVERCOMING CRITICS

In her recent interview on Toni Gonzaga’s YouTube program Toni Talks, Ryzza looked back on the challenges she faced after entering show business. Despite her success, she admitted that negative comments about her appearance became one of the most painful parts of growing up in the public eye. Some critics questioned why she won and doubted her talent, but Ryzza continued to prove herself through her work and resilience.
Her career soon opened more opportunities. She became the host of The Ryzza Mae Show, a children’s talk show that ran for more than two years and produced over 600 episodes. The program helped establish her as one of the youngest television hosts in the Philippines and showed her ability to carry a show at such a young age.
Years after her breakthrough, Ryzza Mae remains active in Philippine television. From a child star who faced harsh public judgment to a young entertainer who continues to grow in the industry, her story reflects confidence, perseverance, and the importance of staying strong despite criticism.
