SAMSUNG FACES $15M LAWSUIT FROM DUA LIPA OVER ALLEGED IMAGE MISUSE

      Section image

Dua Lipa has filed a $15 million lawsuit against Samsung Electronics, accusing the company of using her image without permission to promote television products. The lawsuit was filed in California federal court and centers on a photo reportedly used on Samsung TV packaging.

According to the complaint, Lipa says she owns the rights to the image and never approved its use in Samsung’s marketing. Her legal team argues that the packaging could have made shoppers believe she endorsed the company’s TVs.

Samsung has said the image came from a third-party partner that claimed the rights had been cleared. The allegations have not been proven in court, and the case remains ongoing.
