YULO BROTHERS SET TO RECEIVE ₱4.4M IN GOVERNMENT INCENTIVES FOR ASIAN GAMES MEDALS

Carlos and Karl Eldrew Yulo are set to receive a combined ₱4.4 million in government cash incentives following their medal-winning performances at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.

Under Republic Act No. 10699, Filipino athletes who win an individual gold medal at the Asian Games are entitled to ₱2 million, while a bronze medal carries a ₱400,000 incentive.

Carlos captured two gold medals after ruling the men’s floor exercise and vault, putting his statutory incentive at ₱4 million.

His younger brother Eldrew earned bronze in the men’s horizontal bar, his first Asian Games medal, corresponding to a ₱400,000 incentive.

Combined, the brothers’ three medals translate to ₱4.4 million in government incentives under the law, recognizing their achievements for Team Philippines.
