AIRFARES TO RISE AS FUEL SURCHARGE HITS RECORD LEVEL 19

Air travelers are expected to face higher ticket prices following the adjustment of the passenger and cargo fuel surcharge to Level 19, now at a record level.

Under the updated rates, domestic flight surcharges will range from ₱627 to ₱1,824, depending on travel distance. For international flights departing from the Philippines, additional charges will range from ₱2,070.77 to ₱15,397.15.

This increase is expected to raise overall airfare costs, placing additional financial pressure on both domestic and international passengers as fuel-related fees continue to rise.
