ATENEO DE MANILA ISSUES STATEMENT FOLLOWING TONI TALKS INTERVIEW ON RENE BATERBONIA

Ateneo de Manila University has issued a statement following the public interview of Rovelyn Baterbonia, the mother of Rene Baterbonia, on Toni Talks.

In its response, the university recognized the Baterbonia family’s ongoing grief and emphasized that it has remained in communication with them while extending assistance and support.

Ateneo also said it is open to meeting with the family to hear their concerns directly, clarify matters where possible, and continue providing appropriate care during this difficult period.

The university’s statement underscored its willingness to maintain dialogue and respond to the family’s needs with sensitivity and respect.
