TJ MONTERDE SHARES HEARTFELT TRIBUTE TO FRIEND MAKOY PORTADO

TJ Monterde shared an emotional message remembering his close friend Makoy Portado, describing him as one of the people who supported him from the very beginning.

The singer-songwriter looked back on the many moments they shared through the years, from the early days of pursuing music and dealing with doubts to traveling together and making unforgettable memories along the way.

TJ also reflected on how meaningful it was that Makoy’s final gig took place in Cagayan de Oro, their hometown, making the moment even more personal for him.

Among the memories he cherished were their simple bonding moments, including their favorite Buy 1 Take 1 burgers, which became part of the friendship they built over time.

TJ ended his tribute with gratitude for Makoy’s constant support since Day 1 and a heartfelt farewell to a friend he considered a brother.
