BOBET’S MOM TURNS EMOTIONAL WHILE GIVING SUZANNE A NECKLACE

Rovelyn Baterbonia, mother of the late student-athlete Rene Clert “Bobet” Baterbonia, became emotional as she personally placed a necklace on Suzanne van de Marel during a send-off gathering in Talacogon, Agusan del Sur, on Wednesday night.

Suzanne, described as Bobet’s “special someone,” is set to return to Brunei on August 20.
