EMAN BACOSA PACQUIAO CAMP FILES GAB COMPLAINT OVER ALLEGED RABBIT PUNCHES

Eman Bacosa Pacquiao’s camp has filed a formal complaint before the Games and Amusement Board following his June 21 title bout against Rodelyn Perez.

The complaint accuses Perez of repeatedly landing rabbit punches, or blows to the back of the head, during the fight. Pacquiao’s team also raised concerns over referee Jerold Tomeldan’s handling of the bout, claiming that no warning or penalty was issued despite the alleged illegal blows.

Pacquiao’s camp emphasized that their priority is the boxer’s safety and health, not simply the result of the match. Pacquiao has already undergone a CT scan and is currently waiting for the results.

The GAB has confirmed that it has started the formal review process regarding the complaint.
