HEAT INDEX FORECAST

As of today, several areas across the country are experiencing dangerously high heat index levels, ranging from 42°C to 45°C. The hottest spots include parts of Iloilo, Agusan del Norte, and Negros Occidental.

Residents are strongly advised to limit outdoor activities, stay well-hydrated, and seek shade or cooler environments whenever possible. Prolonged exposure to extreme heat may lead to heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
