MICHAEL LEYVA SLAMS MACHONG CHISMISAN PODCAST OVER JOSH AQUINO CONTROVERSY: “DELETING THE VIDEO WILL NOT MAKE THIS ISSUE GO AWAY!”

Fashion designer Michael Leyva has expressed strong disappointment toward the Machong Chismisan podcast following the controversy surrounding its remarks about Joshua “Josh” Aquino, the son of Kris Aquino, who has special needs.

In a social media post, Leyva criticized the alleged mocking of Josh's condition, emphasizing that a person's disability should never become a subject of ridicule or entertainment.

The designer stressed that Josh deserves kindness, respect, and support rather than hurtful comments about his condition.

Leyva also pointed out that removing the controversial video from the podcast's YouTube channel does not automatically erase the issue.

According to him, online content can leave a lasting digital footprint, and simply deleting a video does not necessarily resolve the harm caused by its remarks.
