RENÉ BATERBONIA’S FINAL GOODBYE MARKED BY A MOTHER’S PAINFUL MESSAGE

Rene “Bobet” Baterbonia was laid to rest , as family, friends, and supporters gathered to pay their final respects to the young athlete. The ceremony was filled with grief and remembrance, as loved ones struggled to come to terms with the sudden loss.

During the funeral, his mother, Rovelyn Baterbonia, delivered an emotional message reflecting the deep pain of losing her son. Through tears, she expressed her anguish and the questions that remain in her heart.

Among her words, she said:

“Ayaw sila pakatulga.... tungod ba kay pobre ra kita dili sila makapangayo ug pasaylo nato.”

*“Huwag mo silang hayaang makatulog.. dahil ba mahirap lang tayo, kaya hindi nila kayang humingi ng tawad sa atin?”*
