Zaldy Co is no longer in the custody of Czech authorities after being detained earlier for immigration violations, Justice Secretary Fredderick Vida confirmed. Co was initially stopped on April 16 for carrying an expired passport, though the exact date of his release is unclear.
Vida said there is “workable intel” indicating that Co is still somewhere within the Schengen Area, the 29-country European zone with no internal border controls.
