SPURS’ KELDON JOHNSON WINS KIA NBA SIXTH MAN OF THE YEAR

Keldon Johnson has been named the 2025–26 Kia NBA Sixth Man of the Year, capping off a standout season as the top reserve for the San Antonio Spurs.
Johnson made history by playing all 82 games off the bench and setting a franchise record with 1,081 points as a reserve, becoming the first Spurs player to reach the 1,000-point mark in that role. He now joins Manu Ginobili as the only players in team history to win the award.
This marks Johnson’s first individual NBA honor, highlighting his impact and consistency throughout the season. He edged out finalists Jaime Jaquez Jr. of the Miami Heat and Tim Hardaway Jr. of the Denver Nuggets.
The award adds to a strong postseason recognition for San Antonio, following Victor Wembanyama being named Defensive Player of the Year.
